Taarifa Readers and Storytellers is a free service that will bring more literacy excitement to storytimes at your site and a beautiful book collection once a year

Cultural Connections
Intentionally engaging families from various and diverse cultures
Taarifa Readers & Storytellers and Cultural Connections (TRSCC) aims to help dispel misconceptions, stereotypes, prejudice, or negative beliefs about another culture or race. TRSCC will begin a four-month program that will introduce African Americans to Asian Americans, Latino Americans, Somalians, and Native Americans to understand and appreciate different cultures and traditions. TRSCC will meet twice per month to hold cultural sessions. The sessions will take place during June, July, August, and September.
